Furniture Restorer Required
Founded in London in 1966, Plowden & Smith is one of the largest fine, decorative and contemporary art and object conservation and restoration company in the UK. We are seeking a furniture conservator to be part of our small but busy furniture department.
We are particularly interested in hearing from conservators with suitable post qualification practical experience in a wide range of furniture items ranging from traditional to contemporary. Excellent knowledge and skills in antique/contemporary cabinet work, finishing and polishing are desirable but we do offer ongoing career development for someone who is keen and willing to up-skill. Some joinery skills and a driving licence would be useful.
