Do you want to be a part of the team that protects history for generations to come? We are looking for two Storage Technicians to join the UK Parliament’s Heritage Collections Team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in relocating and consolidating the nation’s Parliamentary heritage collections. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our historic collections are handled safely at every stage of the process. This includes working closely with and supervising specialist transport and handling contractors during packing, decant, moves, and re-stowage. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and provide expert advice on object packing and handling techniques to maintain the highest standards of care. Alongside the practical work, you’ll use tools such as spreadsheets and our Collections Management System (CMS) to keep accurate location records and support the smooth execution of moves.
