Our Barbican Theatre department is looking for a highly motivated Sound/Video Technician who can demonstrate excellent technical skills and experience working in a major theatre environment. The successful candidate will be running productions from pre-rig to opening night, so knowledge and understanding of sound/video operation, production engineering, AV operation and first line maintenance are essential.

This position requires individuals to use their initiative and work independently, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and undertaken in a safe and professional manner, demonstrating a great understanding of relevant Health & Safety issues. The ability to work to deadlines and maintain an organised, ordered approach, with excellent attention to detail is important.
