Freelance Installation Technician / Fabricator (Light Installation)

Looking for a London-based freelance installation technician / fabricator to support a site-specific sound and light installation in a historic setting.The project requires adapting a historic space to create precise, flat white planes for controlled light and shadow. We are looking for someone practical, inventive, and visually sensitive, with experience across fabrication and installation.

Likely scope:

Initial call with the project team
Site visit to assess the space and advise on practical solutions
Planning and fabricating temporary, non-invasive structures within an altar / alcove setting
Constructing a small number of rigid, perfectly flat white surfaces (e.g. scenic flats, foam board systems, stretched muslin on frames, or similar)
In addition - two small internal windows need covering (purely for blackout purposes for the light installation to be most effective)
Working sensitively and reversibly within the space

Looking for experience in:

Exhibition / gallery installation
Scenic fabrication / construction
Artist installations
Strong attention to finish and detail
